The Church of St. Donat is one of the most famous buildings in Croatia dating back to the 9th century. Next to the church is the bell tower of St. Stošije which allows you to get to know the city from a height of 62 meters.
The sea organ in Zadar is a special phenomenon. This orchestra whose conductor is the sea is located on the Riva. It is a place where you can enjoy the music produced by the waves, and also a perfect point where you can take a couple of great photos considering that the organ offers a view of the canal, islands and sunset.
Next to the Sea Organ there is another attraction - Greeting to the Sun. It is a circular light installation that works on the principle of absorbing solar energy. During the day, the sun fills the solar panels located under the structure itself, and after sunset, the magic begins. Another interesting fact is that Greeting to the Sun is associated with the Sea Organ. Namely, the sound produced by the organ is transmitted to the light structure, influencing the colors and dynamics of the image on the glass, and thus in the evening there is a play of sound and light.
About thirty kilometers north of Zadar are the Paklenica National Park and the Northern Velebit National Park. Paklenica National Park is famous for its sculptures in the rocks created by nature and mountain meadows. If you are adventurous you can try rock climbing. Natural sources of drinking water will provide you with real refreshment from the heat, and the spirit of nature will fill you with a sense of carefreeness.
